Wow, so much has happened since last time we were here!!! Does anybody even read this? Well if you do, your about to get caught up on some happenings since back when this was last written in.
The best news so far is that at long last, there now is a Matty O' album, Gullible's Travels, released online on April 9'th 2015!!!
This was the inevitable result of 14 years of tracking, small payments, favors, and a whole lot of privation and suffering. I was tenacious about getting an album out of some well produced songs before I left the Earth and now that is accomplished!
Great credit is due to producer Jeff Moleski of Moletrax West/Danalog Studios, engineer Steve Feldman, and in Seattle, producer Gary Reynolds of Electrokitty Studios. All tracking was done on two inch tape with editing, overdubs, and some mastering done in Pro Tools.
Since it's release songs from it have been played on college radio, internet radio, even mainstream radio via KLOS 95.5 FM The Home of Los Angeles Classic Rock!!!
The song Rock Star from Gullible's Travels has been the most featured track on the album in terms of airplay, and more promotion work for that song is soon to reach out to FM stations across the United States in the coming months.
Also there is a new band name for Matty O's band: The Ghosts Of The Insane!!! So far that band consists of:
Matty O' vocals and rhythm guitar, Mike Lemley, drums, Dave Zee on bass, and Pablo Farina on keys.
Further, in his spare time Matty O' is currently playing bass in a band called Pleasure Farm lead by singer/guitarist/multi instrumentalist Pablo Farina of Los Angeles.
As more develops there will be more entries here, thanks for tuning in and keep playing!

Well it's been a while, and alot's happened, so I'll let you know a little. First, the solo show and Tsunami benefit went as well as could be expected. The crowd was mostly there for Third Rail, but they were nice, and some money was raised for a good cause so we can all be happy about that. Also, Pierre and I recorded four songs this past Saturday, including Yuletide Lament, and She Forgot, as well as two new ones. Anyway, that's the scoop for now. More laters. Oh yeah, Seduce The Enemy were great to, and said they'd play a show with us again in the future. As soon as that happens we'll let you know.

Well we're in drummer hell now. Jake has left the band due to school commitments, and we have yet to find another one, so I may have to play the March 19'th show solo. I'm a little disapointed by this, but we'll press on. I'm also going to get to play Audrey Ryan's birthday party soon, so I'll come back and let you all know how that went, and how the show went. Well that's it for now, stay tuned.

Good news and bad news. First the good news, we've got another show coming up. It's March 19'th at the All Asia Bar with http://www.elephanthousemusic.com. It's from 4-7 pm, on a Saturday afternoon, and do come early, because Elephant House is a great funk band, so it's sure to be a good time.
Now the bad news. I regret to inform everyone that Harmonica T, the harmonica player on Lady Luck and God Won't Knock You Down by my late friend Greg Zera is DEAD. He of course died of alcohol poisoning. I used to tell him that that hard liqour was no friend of mine, or anyone's, but he wouldn't listen, which is why I only stick to beer, and 6 is my limit. Of course I have a friend who says that's even bad, but you all know I like to live a little. Plus I spend and owe so much for the band that I don't even get to do that much anymore. Well T, I'll be shedding some Harmonica Tears for you wherever you and Greg, and Johnny Carson are, and I hope they're glad to see you. That's it for now. I hope I see you all at the next show.

Happy New Year everyone! I don't have alot of new things to report yet, but there's alot coming up that I've already mentioned, plus I got alot helpful suggestions from Joe Vig that I'm going to list here. I'm not sure if any of you know this, but Boston has a HUGE college radio community, and we've been quite remiss in getting into that, but that's going to change soon. As soon as we're on, we'll let you all know in as many ways as we can. Also, I'm going to be starting a new blog tentatively called "My Cousin Mikey's Weird Tape Box." I've barely even tapped this vast resource of inspiration yet, and as soon as I start this new blog I'll let you know. Well my sister Peggy needs her computer now, so I've got to go. We'll be back soon, and have a Sloppy New Year.

BUMMER! I Just found that there's another band with the name Slop, and their already on cd baby with a cd. Also, to add insult to injury, although I haven't listened to it yet, I'm not sure it's even my cup of tea! What are we going to do, call ourselves Sum 42? How Blink 183? I'll let you know what the band decides, and if the original Slop will sell us the name or not or if so, if it'll be too expensive. So this is a nice christmas present huh?
