Hey everybody!!!
I just had the best day of my entire life!!! I just got to play at Mass/Cann Norml's Freedom Rally 2004 Boston!! That's right, yours truly got to play two songs at Mass/Cann Norml's Freedom Rally, in front of luminaries from High Times magazine, and about two hundred very happy, stoney people!! Please send them any donations that you can, so that we can keep enjoying this intense and meaningful tradition. I played Stoners, and a new song, Hippie Girl. Now it came off a little sloppy, since I and the bongo drummer there had never played before, and I didn't give them a cew for the first song, so they didn't catch on untill the middle of the song, but the crowd went nuts all the same, and in fact I just got a reply email from one of them saying she loved seeing me at the show! I was supposed to meet my friend Harmonica T, but he never showed up. But even though I was by myself, except for the drummers, it was awesome, and the crowd loved it. This has got to be my best show ever, and I fully intend to play every Mass/Cann Norml Freedom Rally Boston for as long as I live!! To find more information, go to http://www.hightimes.com, or http://www.masscann.org.

As for other news, I'm still trying to see which photographer it'll be for the cover, and then the duplication still has to happen, so it looks like it'll be about a month untill the cd is released, but please keep checking back in case of more news.

Well that's it for now. Please keep checking back in case of more news or shows. Laters.

Hey everybody, whoever you are!
I know it's been such a long time since I made an entry, but life's been pretty hectic, so I'll just let you all know what I've been up to, and what I'll be up to shortly. First, I played two shows at the Allasia bar in Cambridge. For the first one, there was nodody there except the owner, which sucked, but he at least liked my tunes and performance enough to invite me to come back again, which I just did. For that show, I basicaly had to bribe the other band that was before me to stick around for my show by buying one of their shirts, and they at least stuck around for 3/4 of my set, and cheered for every song! However, since they were a Satanist band, they heckled me a little bit when I introduced God Won't Knock You Down, which was a first for me, but it wasn't that bad, and they cheered at the end of that one to, since it's still a good tune, and I played my absolute best, like I always do, so it was still a good show, and we all had a great time. Oh yeah, the great Audrey Ryan showed up in the studio last time I was there and did some rad backing vocals on one tune, and some killer guitar on both tunes, so I have to say thanks so very much, and please do support her band! You can find more about her by emailing audreyryanband@yahoo.com. In speaking of the studio, I'm going in again to cut the final two tracks, and mix it all down this Sunday afternoon. There's this harp player named Harmonica T that I met in Harvard Square that I've left two advance messages for, which gave him the address and phone number for the studio, and the fact that I will be paying him for all his hard work. However we have some differences on our approach to the blues and how it should be played, so if he doesn't show up, I'm sorry to say this, but he's fired in that case. Meanwhile, there's an excellent website called http://www.boston.craigslist.org. I met this other harp player on there who's named Barry Cohen, and although he's not as experienced as Harmonica T, we both totally get along with how the guitar should sound, and what tunes we like, plus he knows this wicked awesome drummer/keyboard player named Chuck, who has tons of gear in his garage including a drumset, so if we get to jam at Chuck's house, and since Barry has wheels, I'll finally get to play with a band with my Fender Hot Rod! It should totally rule my freaky people!

Also, I have some work cut out for me in the next couple weeks. I'm going to be reviewing The Supersucker DVD, Audrey Ryan's cd, and hopefully the new Megadeth cd before it even hits the stores, all thanks to my good friend Joe Vig, who's immense career you can check out at http://www.varulven.com. Joe's a really amazing cat who's been on the Boston scene for over twenty years, as a producer, performer, and writter, and he's currently writting for http://www.amg.com. In case that link doesn't work because I have it wrong or something, that's the All Music Guide, which is basicaly the industry bible of all the music that's out today, and from yesterday, no matter what band, artist, or genre, and it's used for information and content for so many places, like the Windows Media player, Sam Goody, and Barnes and Noble to name a few. Well that's it for now. Thanks for checking me out, and keep coming back so you can see the reviews and whatever's coming up in my future. Laters.
